Bought some books!!! Yay!!

Today I got to spend my $42 on books at Borders!!! Yes!!! I was totally excited!!! I got to get 4 paperback books.

They are (cue the drumroll) . . . . .

-Inside Out by Maria V. Snyder (is her Poison Study triology any good??)

*The Maze Runner by James Dashner

*Prophecy of the Sisters by Michelle Zink

*The Iron Daughter by Julie Kagawa (had to get it because of Cheezyfeet Book's blog)

Yep, that is what I got, and I pretty happy with it.

-I was going to put the pictures of all the other books too, but I couldn't get the pictures to go the way I wanted it to.

-Just one more thing, if you do see this blog don't be afraid to become a follower of it because I would be so appreciate it.

*I have also thought that once I get 200 hundred followers or so (which I am sure it will happen someday -I am a true believer of this blog :) - along with all the others that I have followed) I will ask my mom if I can do a contest only for the US sorry people from other countries I just am a person who has the occasional allowance and get money from Christmas and birthdays.

Review:

Wow! What to say? What to say?? Before, I started to read this awesome book I read some reviews. A lot of people said that it was an up for Ethan and a down for Lena. Which I kind of agree (well barely). People also said that Lena was annoying in this book. I have a few things to say about those two things that I saw in a ton of reviews that I saw. Lena didn't really seem annoying till around page 300. Even then she didn't really get on my nerves. I guess to me it seemed like when they explained why she was annoying that it kind of just washed all of annoyance at Lena disapper. On the thing about this book was an up for Ethan, I agreed full-heartedly that it was a major improvement on his part. On the Lena it was a down in this book, it was something I really couldn't decide if it was an up or a down because she just wasn't there.

I think that this book was just really awesome. I think that everything that happened just kind of seemed like it should. I believe that only one thing got on my nerves, is the thing about the moons getting kind of old. I mean it isn't yet, but if they put 18 moons song or whatever it is into the next book it really is going to get on my last nerve. I believe that is about all.

-Characters:Fantastic (especially Ethan and Macon)

-Anything and Everthing else:totally made me speechless and awe-struck (this book makes me wish I was as brilliant author as Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl.)

Wow, this Christmas has to be probally the best for me getting books. If you can hang on to what I got for Christmas book wise, I am going to say something else. I signed up for the December contest at www.acbookjunkies@blogspot.com . . . They have been hinting and hinting about how it is just so incredible. Yesterday, this contest ended, but I kind of forgot since Christmas was here. Today I decided to check my email, and there it was an email from them saying I won. I was so excited!! I just have to say go check out there blog. I will now go on to what I got for Christmas since I got out my excitedness out. I got Beautiful Darkness by Kami Garcia and Margret Stohl, Torment by Lauren Kate, the whole trilogy of Chaos Walking, and Last Sacrifice by Richelle Mead. That was all my real books, but I got a Nook and a $30 giftcard for it (I bought so far Hunger by Michael Grant and Zombies vs. Unicorns.) I have a $50 from giftcards for anywhere. I made a deal with my mom. I spend 25 of it for a new bookshelf and the rest for books.

Early Christmas!!

I have nothing better to do right now since my sister is playing her new Michael Jackson Wii game. Today we went with our aunt to Chuck E. Cheese with her kids. My aunt said afterwards that we had a little something under the tree for us, but that she would let us pick out something else. I got a book, of course. It was (drum roll please) Last Sacrifice by Richelle Mead. I unfortunaly won't be able to read it until I read Spirit Bound, and that stinks but I will speed read. I also got to open some presents from my parents tonight. I got one book from them. It was Beautiful Darkness by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl. That was it except for some pajama pants from Old Navy and an Aeropostale shirt.

Okay, now on to the review. This book was an okay book with a pretty good story. I have to say that I have read better, but it had cute characters and a good story line. On this book I just don't have a lot to say. The end was kind of confusing. I was like is the Sphinx a bad guy or what? I was also like who was that dude in the quiet box? I know that is sort of spoilers but still it really isn't in a way. I guess I recommend this book to people who like kind of the protect the mythical creauture thing. Oh, a little side note I loved Warren, and yes, I will continue on with the series as you can see from what I am currently reading.

This book had everything that I think that a great book should

have. It had some witty lines, a real hero, a crazy bad guy that is

out for blood, and an evil maniac that can take over a city. I loved

Sam. I mean who wouldn't he is a hero. I tried as the book moved

on to try and predict what would happen but for some reason

my guesses never came close to what actually happened. The book

had an awesome story and just plain awesome. I guess you could

say I was blown away with this book. I cannot wait till get the next

book.

This book had characters that I thought didn't match their age. I think they acted much younger than they should have. This book for me was overall a good book. It had a bit of adventure just enough to keep me interested along with the many secrets there was. I know I put 3 out of 5, but I for some reason don't put halves on my ratings I have on top. This book I believe has deserved 3 and a half stars out of 5. I very much enjoyed the book at the end and do intend on reading the next one, but I have to say that after I finished the book I looked back on me reading the book and had to admit that not much happened in the book. To finish, I do recommend this book.
