Synopsis courtesy of Goodreads

At the end of the school year, Kendra and her brother Seth find themselves racing back to Fablehaven, a refuge for mythical and magical
creatures. Grandpa Sorenson, the caretaker, invites three specialists - a
potion master, a magical relics collector, and a mystical creature trapper - to
help protect the property from the Society of the Evening Star, an ancient
organization determined to infiltrate the preserve and steal a hidden artifact
of great power. Time is running out. The Evening Star is storming the gates.
If the artifact falls into the wrong hands, it could mean the downfalls of other
preserves and possibly the world. Will Kendra learn to use her fairy gifts in
time? Will Seth stay out of trouble?

Okay, now on to the review. This book was an okay book with a pretty good story. I have to say that I have read better, but it had cute characters and a good story line. On this book I just don't have a lot to say. The end was kind of confusing. I was like is the Sphinx a bad guy or what? I was also like who was that dude in the quiet box? I know that is sort of spoilers but still it really isn't in a way. I guess I recommend this book to people who like kind of the protect the mythical creauture thing. Oh, a little side note I loved Warren, and yes, I will continue on with the series as you can see from what I am currently reading.
